The University of the Immaculate Conception launched its first ever virtual ‘e-ntramurals 2k20’ with the theme: “Rising above the challenge to stay proactive amidst the pandemic through friendly competition in the different academic, cultural and eSports activities” last November 06, 2020.

With the exceptional ideas of the University Supreme Government (USG), they inspired the theme of the event from the video game “Valorant.” The Colleges were divided into four clusters namely, the Controller, Initiator, Duelist, and Sentinel.

The College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) participated in various events that took place in different social media platforms supervised by the USG. The UIC e-ntramurals became more competitive than expected. Students showed off their skills and proved how good they were.

The College gained the Championship title from an e-sports competition: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). Meanwhile, the college’s representatives for the online debate have been making rounds on Discord as the participants namely, Robert Lorenz Marcos from Philosophy, Vinadyn Lino and Alexa Laura Eyao from Psychology, made it in the semi-finals with Eyao being the second best speaker.

Josh Bryan Ramos, a Philosophy student, won as champion in the e-Board Games category particularly in Online Chess. Resty John Estampador and Yobel Agana, both second year students from the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, won as champions for Tumbang Preso in the e-COOL-tura category. In the same category, Saivir John Brainson Gonzales won champion for Luksong Lubid, while for the eDance Competition in Dancesport Solo (Latin American Discipline), Deodan Benedicto from Philosophy won as champion.

The year 2020 had been a rough year for many students due mainly to the pandemic which resulted in classes and conferences being held online. Also, engagements and school gatherings were strictly prohibited. The event’s idea is to give students a chance to participate in their yearly intramurals through online platforms.

To add extra hype, the organizers created Facebook banners and official hashtags for students to use to show their support, and students did not disappoint them. The UIC e-intramurals became an absolute blast gaining over 605.4k reach, 23.9k total live views, 13k teaser views, 11k public posts, 44.4k YouTube views, and became Twitter's Top 1 spot nationwide trends reaching 16.4k tweets.
